I bought a home recently in PA. All I showed are I485 receipt, expired visa on passport,employment and other proof of income . They never asked me the EAD. Loan is through BOA. Most of the immigrants maintain good credit scores so there is good chance of getting loans approved.

First of all why do U wanna ask that? Its an employment based visa that ur GC is based on. So, ur employer shud ask that. Why are u asking IVans to do something which is not in their control??? I keep getting red and dont mind if I'm banned. But excuse me...u r misleading IVans. My point is this. We can protest, rally based on the delay. Thats pretty much we can do. Inquiring into a Government agency's internal affairs is none of ur business. And I repeat u dont have any rights to do that as u have NO direct link to USCIS. I485 is an individual application. It has nothing to do with the employer even in the EB cases. The basis for I485 can be an EB I140. USCIS is answerable to the employer for I140 and answerable to the immigrant for I485. However, I don't think you have the mental capability to understand this obvious law.
Immigrants don't get to vote and may not have other rights such a welfare, social securicty etc. But USA as the greatest democracy on earth provides almost all of the rights to citizens and foreigners alike. In fact you can complain to your local, state & federal lawmakers and they will help you in your problems.
And yes a foreigner has the right to complain about any govt. organization including USCIS if their processes are adversely effecting him or her. These are the basic principles of the US democracy.
Even though relatively US has one of the best functional govt.. sometimes it still takes lot of effort and time for the wheels to turn. Thats what IV is trying to achieve.

I thought I will share my experience with all members who are facing processing delay for their I-140. My I-140 was filed at NSC on March 21, 2007 and got transferred to TSC on May 21, 2008. Since then, I see no activities (I believe TSC was treating transfer date as receipt date and they didn’t bother to look at my case). On July 29, 2008, I asked my Lawyer to initiate the inquiry about the delay and his paralegal took the “service center request” from USCIS for my I-140 and service center issued a confirmation number (ETCXXXXXXXXXXXXX) for further inquiry.
Within 10 days of initiating the inquiry, my case was approved on August 9, 2008. Please do so if you think it will help.

I am guessing that your EAD was driven by the address which you provided while applying for it. CIS may not confirm what's on file, when there is already an address mentioned in application itself.
This could very well be true. My first biometric appointment notice was mailed to me when I was changing residence, and it probably went to the old address, I remember not receiving it and my old attorney's office sending me their copy of it. I had done the AR-15 update right around the same time, but I guess it didn't go through. Anyway, since I spoke directly with someone in Nebraska this time around, I am hoping they now have the right address on file.

My EB3 PD is Oct 2003. I-140 approved and I-485 ND is July24th.when can i expect to get the green card?. thanks in advance.

I left old job 10 months before July 07. But attorney at new employer did mistake with advertisement, and PERM got rejected. Applied again, and USCIS audited all Fragomen cases, so mine stuck there attorney being Fragomen. By then July 07 was gone. In Sept 08 again my PD (Nov 05) was current but I was stuck with Audit.... Finally I got PERM approved, 140 approved, but since then NOV 05 is far far away....
I think with a little luck you may cross the line this year, it maybe a close shave or a diving effort, all the best and best wishes. Maybe 2010 is the year for you.

Not that I say we need change, but this is a public organization. Everyone has a right to call for election. There is nothing wrong.
Only issue is, whoever wants to contest has to come out with public profile as mentioned by someone before. There are only few people who are openly public and with known real identity on this forum - thats sad!

Ever been a member of a public radio station? to vote or contest in an election you have to be a paid member. Do you think N**usa will entertain you if you go to their website and call for change?
